Elegant Reception at The Pointe in Louisville, KY with Kristen + Evan
What a spectacular day for Kristen and Evan. They were married this past November during a beautifully intimate ceremony, but had to postpone the reception due to the pandemic. Being able to finally gather with loved ones to celebrate, these two were glowing all night.
Good thing they decided to go through with their reception too, because these folks sure know how to party! There was a smile plastered to my face the entire night, and I had such a blast cutting up with everyone. Such a fun crew.
When I arrived at the venue, we started out with some portraits and then went straight into the bride and groom’s first look. On their wedding day they went the traditional route and Evan didn’t see his bride until she was walking down the aisle. This July they were able to share a private first look and, oh my goodness, it was precious. Kristen was instantly giddy when she was getting into position to see her groom. They shared a sweet first look, and then we went on to take some of thee most lovely portraits of these two beautiful souls, while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour in another area of the venue.
Once all the guests were gathered in the reception area, they were presented with the videographer footage from the wedding day, which was amazing and brought on both laughter and tears from many of us in the room. Then, of course, there were dances, toasts, delicious desserts, and SO much more dancing!
